The Puppet Collective

The Puppet Collective is a two day event to share the history of Puppetry. Puppetry has a rich history not only around the world but in Everett Washington as well. We will spend time learning about how long puppetry has been around as well as how to maniputate the many styles of puppetry that are out there, from marionettes to rod puppets and beyond. There will be perfomances from various artists and workshops where you can make your own puppet to take home.

Shadow Streak Presents The History of Puppetry. We will take a trip around the world with Melvin, Athena and Hathor, as they tell us about all the different forms of puppetry and where they are performed. We will also learn about the Mantell Manikins and their history, stemming from Everett, Washington.
